The SaltDogg 4 Cubic Foot Tailgate Spreader is ideal for residential and light commercial applications using ice melt and bagged salt and works with 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton trucks. It features a horizontal auger feed that keeps material moving. The spreader has a low-profile 4 Cubic Feet poly hopper that holds up to 296 Pound of material and mounts to a 2 Inch Class 4 receiver. The spreader operates a 9 Inch poly spinner and can cast material up to 30 Feet. Its 1/3 Horsepower, 12 Volt dual shaft gear motor is controlled by an provided variable speed in-cab controller.
