Monessen 32" Exacta Circulating Clean Face Firebox BUF32A

Combined with a Monessen vent-free log set, the Exacta firebox provides warmth and ambiance to practically anywhere. The zero clearance design gives you added flexibility and helps save installation dollars, allowing installation flush against any combustible surface such as drywall or wood, on either an interior or exterior wall.

How The Monessen 32" Exacta Compares To The 42" Exacta

Homeowners choosing a bare-shell firebox usually face this question: should I get this compact 32" Exacta for a smaller opening, or the larger 42" Exacta for a wider viewing area?

Here's the honest comparison:

Why The Monessen 32" Exacta Is Worth The Investment

This isn't just a firebox shell, it's built with a zero clearance design that allows installation flush against drywall or wood on either an interior or exterior wall, giving homeowners real flexibility in where they place a fireplace, all while keeping upfront cost low with a straightforward black painted interior.

The BUF32A specifically addresses the needs of homeowners with a smaller fireplace opening who want the flexibility of a zero clearance installation along with a clean, contemporary black interior backdrop for their chosen log set.

Install It Almost Anywhere, Save On The Details. The zero clearance design means this firebox can be installed flush against combustible surfaces like drywall or wood, on interior or exterior walls, giving homeowners genuine placement flexibility while the black painted interior keeps costs down compared to a firebox bundled with a brick liner.

Built For Efficient, Adaptable Installation

Zero clearance construction allows flush installation against drywall or wood, simplifying tight or unconventional installations

The angled firebox and uniquely engineered air channels move more heat into the room, maximizing efficiency

Screens tuck away into hidden side pockets for a full, unencumbered view of the flame

Engineered For Customization

The black painted interior provides a contemporary background that highlights your chosen log set

Also available with Herringbone or Traditional stacked concrete interior panels if a different look is preferred

Accepts 18" vent-free burners and log sets, giving flexibility in choosing the display that fits your style

Real Savings

Zero clearance installation can reduce the framing and clearance work required compared to a standard firebox

A black painted interior keeps upfront cost lower than a firebox bundled with a brick liner

Free shipping and no sales tax through Summit Forge Supply keeps the total cost down compared to buying elsewhere and paying tax and freight separately

The Bottom Line Homeowners with a smaller fireplace opening who want installation flexibility and a clean, budget-friendly interior background can't get that combination from a larger, bundled firebox. The Monessen 32" Exacta is built with a zero clearance design, a contemporary black interior, and hidden screen pockets, so it delivers a flexible, cost-effective foundation for a custom fireplace build. For anyone with a smaller opening who wants placement flexibility without paying for a bundled liner, this is the firebox built to start with.
