Why The US Stove US2500E-BL Is Worth The Investment
This isn't just a mid-size wood stove, it's a genuinely flexible installation, giving homeowners the choice between adjustable legs or a pedestal base to best fit their room, all while delivering 112,800 BTUs of dependable heat.
The US2500E-BL specifically addresses the needs of homeowners heating up to 2,500 sq. ft. who want a classic cast-iron-legged look with active blower-driven heat distribution and the flexibility to choose their preferred base style.
Turns Standard Wood Heat Into Actively Distributed Warmth. A 100 CFM blower efficiently distributes heat and maximizes heating performance, while a secondary combustion system maximizes heat output while reducing wood consumption and emissions, so more of the fire's energy actually reaches the room.
Built For Efficient, Long-Burning Heat. Producing up to 112,800 BTUs, the US2500E-BL provides reliable warmth for spaces up to 2,500 sq. ft. A spacious 2.7 cu. ft. firebox accepts logs up to 21 in. in length, reducing time spent filling the stove for long burn times.
Engineered For Flexible Installation And Easy Maintenance. Both adjustable legs and a pedestal base are included, letting the style and setup best fit the room. An integrated removable ash pan with a built-in ash port allows for quick and easy cleanup, and a firebrick-lined interior improves combustion efficiency and enhances long-term durability.
Real Savings. Wood fuel can be less expensive than gas or electric heating in areas with access to firewood. A firebrick-lined interior supports long-term durability, reducing the likelihood of costly early replacement, and mobile home and transportable building approval means one stove covers a range of installation types. Free shipping and no sales tax through Summit Forge Supply keeps the total cost down compared to buying elsewhere and paying tax and freight separately.
The Bottom Line Homeowners heating up to 2,500 sq. ft. who want flexible base styling and active blower-driven heat distribution can't get that combination from a fixed-style stove. The US Stove US2500E-BL is built with a choice of legs or pedestal base, a 100 CFM blower, and a firebrick-lined interior, so it delivers 112,800 BTUs of dependable, adaptable warmth. For anyone wanting mounting flexibility alongside real wood-burning heat, this is the stove built to make it work.

The flue collar is designed to take 6” flue pipe.
The Btu output listed in the owner’s manual is calculated under specific test conditions when undergoing EPA certification. These parameters are not the same as normal usage of the stove. The advertised Btu is based on the maximum Btu input that has been obtained in that particular stove.
A) Draft is the number one contributor to how well your stove is going to burn. Your chimney is what drives this draft. If it is too short, or not made with the correct material or somehow not installed properly, it has a drastic impact on how well your stove performs. This can lead to the fire only staying lit if the feed door is open, smoking, blackened glass, and other issues if the chimney isn’t providing sufficient draft. Newer EPA certified stoves require a substantial amount of draft than older non-regulated stoves. You cannot compare how an old stove performed with how a new stove performs on the same installation.
B) The type of wood, quality of wood, and wood moisture are also integral in the performance of the stove. Wood should be seasoned properly with a moisture content between 15% and 20% (please note that surface moisture may be less than the internal moisture content so we recommend splitting the wood before checking the moisture content). Wood that has too high of a moisture content can lead to difficulty maintaining a fire, excessive smoking, and creosote production.
When it comes to product design, innovation, engineering, and testing, that all happens right here in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Due to the competitive marketplace in the heating industry and the price point we want to offer our customers; we manufacture this model in China under very strict oversight.
No, none of our heaters allow for the change of the flue location.
With an EPA certified stove, a manual solid flue damper cannot be used. If you are wanting more control over the fire to allow for a slower burn, we instead recommend a Barometric Draft Regulator.
If the stove is mobile home approved and is being installed in a mobile home, then a fresh air kit is required. It is only optional otherwise, but may be necessary if you have a really air tight home or you are getting a negative pressure in the house. The addition of a fresh air kit can help with the overall draft of the stove.
We do not recommend the usage of any grates in any of our wood stoves.
Yes. These stoves are designed to be operated without the use of a blower. Most of the time the blowers are optional accessories that can be purchased if wanted, but not required.
The front cover of the owner’s manual should state if a stove is approved for mobile home usage or not. If you need to find the owner’s manual, the latest addition should be on our website.
