The US Stove US1100E-L wood stove delivers dependable, EPA-certified heating performance with classic style. Producing up to 68,000 BTUs, it efficiently heats spaces up to 1,200 sq. ft., making it an ideal solution for supplemental home heating. Built from durable plate steel with a charcoal black finish, the stove includes both adjustable legs and a pedestal base, letting the style and setup best fit the space. The heavy-duty cast iron door features air-washed ceramic glass, providing a clear view of the fire while helping reduce soot buildup. A 1.3 cu. ft. firebox accepts logs up to 18 in. long and utilizes a non-catalytic secondary combustion system to deliver efficient heat with reduced emissions. Designed to operate without electricity, this stove provides dependable heat whenever and wherever needed most. Here's how it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon startup, and once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three ignition tubes directly above the wood, producing fire at both the bottom and top for efficient wood consumption. This stove is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Why The US Stove US1100E-L Is Worth The Investment

This isn't just a small wood stove, it's a genuinely non-electric heating appliance right-sized for smaller homes, giving homeowners dependable heat that keeps working no matter what the power grid is doing, in a footprint that doesn't overwhelm a smaller room.

The US1100E-L specifically addresses the needs of homeowners heating up to 1,200 sq. ft. who want reliable, no-electricity-required wood heat with the flexibility to choose their preferred base style.

Turns Standard Wood Heat Into A Genuinely Off-Grid Appliance. Designed to operate without electricity, this stove provides dependable heat whenever and wherever needed most, so a power outage doesn't mean losing the primary heat source.

Built For Efficient, Dual-Direction Heat. Producing up to 68,000 BTUs, the US1100E-L efficiently heats spaces up to 1,200 sq. ft. Fire at both the bottom and top of the firebox, driven by primary and secondary air inlets, consumes the wood efficiently for maximum energy extraction.

Engineered For Flexible Installation And Clean Viewing. Both adjustable legs and a pedestal base are included, letting the style and setup best fit the space. The heavy-duty cast iron door features air-washed ceramic glass, providing a clear view of the fire while helping reduce soot buildup.

Real Savings. No electricity requirement means the stove keeps heating during power outages without needing a backup power source. Wood fuel can be less expensive than gas or electric heating in areas with access to firewood, and a right-sized 1,200 sq. ft. rating avoids paying for capacity beyond what a smaller home needs. Free shipping and no sales tax through Summit Forge Supply keeps the total cost down compared to buying elsewhere and paying tax and freight separately.

The Bottom Line Homeowners heating smaller spaces up to 1,200 sq. ft. who want dependable, fully non-electric wood heat without paying for a larger stove's extra capacity can't find a better fit than the US1100E-L. It's built with a 1.3 cu. ft. firebox, air-washed glass, and up to 68,000 BTUs of output, so it delivers real off-grid-ready warmth sized right for smaller homes. For anyone wanting compact wood heat that keeps working no matter the power situation, this is the stove built to make it work.

Do you have videos on how to repair my Wood Stove?

Yes, please use this link to see our full list of videos Wood Stove Repair Videos

What size flue does the flue collar take?

The flue collar is designed to take 6” flue pipe.

Why is the advertised BTU different than the BTU output in the manual?

The Btu output listed in the owner’s manual is calculated under specific test conditions when undergoing EPA certification.  These parameters are not the same as normal usage of the stove.  The advertised Btu is based on the maximum Btu input that has been obtained in that particular stove.

Why can’t I get my wood to stay lit without leaving the door open?

A) Draft is the number one contributor to how well your stove is going to burn. Your chimney is what drives this draft.  If it is too short, or not made with the correct material or somehow not installed properly, it has a drastic impact on how well your stove performs. This can lead to the fire only staying lit if the feed door is open, smoking, blackened glass, and other issues if the chimney isn’t providing sufficient draft.  Newer EPA certified stoves require a substantial amount of draft than older non-regulated stoves.  You cannot compare how an old stove performed with how a new stove performs on the same installation.
B) The type of wood, quality of wood, and wood moisture are also integral in the performance of the stove. Wood should be seasoned properly with a moisture content between 15% and 20% (please note that surface moisture may be less than the internal moisture content so we recommend splitting the wood before checking the moisture content). Wood that has too high of a moisture content can lead to difficulty maintaining a fire, excessive smoking, and creosote production.

Where is this Product Made?

When it comes to product design, innovation, engineering, and testing, that all happens right here in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Due to the competitive marketplace in the heating industry and the price point we want to offer our customers; we manufacture this model in China under very strict oversight.

Can you convert the venting from top to back or vice versa?

No, none of our heaters allow for the change of the flue location.

Can a flue damper be added to the chimney pipe?

With an EPA certified stove, a manual solid flue damper cannot be used.  If you are wanting more control over the fire to allow for a slower burn, we instead recommend a Barometric Draft Regulator.

Do I need to install a fresh air kit?

If the stove is mobile home approved and is being installed in a mobile home, then a fresh air kit is required.  It is only optional otherwise, but may be necessary if you have a really air tight home or you are getting a negative pressure in the house.  The addition of a fresh air kit can help with the overall draft of the stove.

Can I use a grate in the firebox?

We do not recommend the usage of any grates in any of our wood stoves.

Can my wood stove be burned without a blower.

Yes.  These stoves are designed to be operated without the use of a blower.  Most of the time the blowers are optional accessories that can be purchased if wanted, but not required.

How do I know if a particular stove is mobile home approved or not.

The front cover of the owner’s manual should state if a stove is approved for mobile home usage or not.  If you need to find the owner’s manual, the latest addition should be on our website.
