The revolutionary designed AP5000 is perfect for small spaces up to 1,000 sq. ft. This euro-styled design provides a modern take on a traditional pellet stove heater and delivers perfect heating performance while saving money. The AP5000 wall mounted pellet stove heater has a direct vent design, avoiding the typical chimney installs of a traditional pellet stove. Best of all, everything needed is included in the box, and all that's needed is to supply the pellet fuel to get started. This pellet heater uses a sturdy wall bracket, and installation provides minimized clearances, mounting similar to a flat screen TV. It has an integrated 28 lb. hopper that can heat up to 35 hours between refills on the low setting, delivering up to 24,000 BTUs. A remote control is included to make heating adjustments a breeze, and a 150 CFM blower along with all venting components ship in the box, including a mounting bracket, stove adapter, cap, wall thimble, vent attachment, and twist lock pipe. Digital controls with automatic ignition make starting easy and quick, and the unit is mobile home approved (USA), CSA certified, and EPA approved.
How The US Stove AP5000 Compares To The US Stove US5513-W
Homeowners evaluating how to fit pellet heat into a small room usually face this question: should I choose this AP5000 for a wall-mounted design that clears the floor entirely, or select the US5513-W for a compact freestanding footprint that still sits on the floor.

Why The US Stove AP5000 Is Worth The Investment
This isn't just a compact pellet stove, it's a genuinely wall-mounted heating appliance, giving homeowners real pellet heat in rooms where floor space simply can't be given up to a freestanding stove.
The AP5000 specifically addresses the needs of homeowners in the smallest rooms, apartments, or cabins up to 1,000 sq. ft. who want pellet heat without sacrificing any usable floor space.
Turns Wall Space Into A Complete Heating Solution. This pellet heater uses a sturdy wall bracket, mounting similar to a flat screen TV, so the entire floor stays clear while the AP5000 delivers up to 24,000 BTUs of direct-vent pellet heat.
Built For Efficient, Space-Saving Heat. Delivering up to 24,000 BTUs, the AP5000 efficiently heats spaces up to 1,000 sq. ft. A direct vent design avoids the typical chimney installs of a traditional pellet stove, dramatically reducing installation complexity.
Engineered For Complete, Ready-To-Install Convenience. Everything needed ships in the box, including the 150 CFM blower, mounting bracket, stove adapter, cap, wall thimble, vent attachment, and twist lock pipe, so all that's needed is to supply the pellet fuel. A 28 lb. integrated hopper provides up to 35 hours of continuous burn time on the lowest setting.
Real Savings. A complete included venting kit avoids the added cost of sourcing separate venting components. Mobile home approval, CSA certification, and EPA approval mean one unit covers a range of installation types without needing a different model. Wall mounting avoids the cost of floor space that a freestanding stove would otherwise require. Free shipping and no sales tax through Summit Forge Supply keeps the total cost down compared to buying elsewhere and paying tax and freight separately.
The Bottom Line Homeowners in the smallest rooms who need pellet heat without giving up any floor space can't get that from a freestanding stove like the US5513-W. The US Stove AP5000 is built with a wall-mounted, direct-vent design, a complete included venting kit, and a 28 lb. hopper, so it delivers up to 24,000 BTUs of genuinely space-saving heat. For anyone with a tight room and no floor space to spare, this is the stove built to make it work.

Yes, however, it must be a wired thermostat. The control boards do not accept wireless or smart thermostats.
The models ending in W has Wi-Fi capabilities. This allows you to control the stove using the USSC App. The model without the W comes with a remote control that works with an IR sensor on the stove.
Yes, it can be exhausted through the ceiling. Refer to the owners manual with installation recommendations.
We recommend using an NFI Certified Installer.
No. These control boards are designed to be a High/Low thermostat mode rather than an ON/OFF. This means that the control board will operate between heat range 1 and the setting that the control board is set to. For example, if you have the control board set on heat range 3 and are running the stove in T-Stat mode the heater will run on heat range one any time that the temperature is sufficed, and it will run up to setting 3 anytime the thermostat is calling for heat. If the Thermostat isn’t calling for heat, the stove will still run on the lowest setting, so this means that it is possible that it can exceed the setpoint temperature.
This is likely due to the hopper fuel sensor. This is intended to indicate that the hopper fuel is getting low, however, this can also mean that the sensor just needs to be recalibrated. This is a simple task. You will just need a small flat head screwdriver to turn the small brass screw on the fuel sensor located on the back of the hopper. Turn it clockwise slowly until the control board stops flashing when there are pellets in the hopper.
This depends on how often you are running the stove. It is recommended that the burn pot be emptied and cleaned before each ignition. The burn pot should be inspected daily if you are continually using it to see if it needs to be cleaned.
We recommend only using PFI certified premium hardwood pellets.
No. These stoves are designed and tested to specifically burn only wood pellets.
If you have a mobile home certified pellet stove installed in a mobile home, then a fresh air kit is required. If you are in a newer build home it is also recommended. If you are in a home with a small area for makeup air or you are getting a poor burn, then it is also recommended that you use a fresh air kit.
We recommend a minimum of 1000w pure sine wave invertor battery backup for a short period of time. If you are using a generator, we recommend that it is 1000w inverter generator.
• First check that the auger pin is connected and not broken. If it is broken, then there is likely an auger jam.
• Auger jam is a potential cause. This typically occurs due to a buildup of pellets in the auger tube. If this is the cause, you can usually clean out the hopper and remove the jam and the heater will then work as it should.
• The hopper switch is another likely culprit, this can move over time to where it is not fully engaging and may just need to be slightly adjusted.
• An issue with vacuum can also cause this to occur. Vacuum issues are typically a result of a dirty stove/flue pipe, leaking gasket, or improperly installed exhaust pipe.
– Start by making sure that all clean outs are clean and free of debris.
– Make sure that the venting is installed per the owner’s manual and is not clogged with debris or ashes.
Yes. Though some parts such as the hopper and the back of the stove should remain relatively cool, the front and sides of the stove will get extremely hot and will cause burns if touched.
