The Ashley Hearth AW3200E-P is an extra large wood burning stove with 152,000 BTUs of heat, designed to warm up to 3,200 sq. ft. Constructed of heavy 3/16 in. reinforced plate steel with a firebrick lining for long life and combustion efficiency, it's also one of the cleanest burning EPA certified stoves on the market, without a catalyst, meeting the stringent EPA "Step 2" 2020 Certification Guidelines. A large pedestal base features an integrated ash drawer with a cast iron ash plug for easy cleanup, and a large arched ceramic glass window with a brushed nickel door handle lets you enjoy the real flames flickering inside. The stove accepts logs up to 18 to 22 in. in length, and an adjustable high-speed 100 CFM blower is included to help distribute heat evenly across the space. This model replaces the previous Vogelzang TR007 wood-burning stove.

How The Ashley AW3200E-P Compares To The Ashley AW40 And Other Wood Heating Options

Homeowners evaluating how to heat a large space with wood usually face this question: should I choose the AW40 circulator for solid coverage up to 2,000 sq. ft., step up to this AW3200E-P for the largest coverage in the line at 3,200 sq. ft., or go with a smaller stove suited to a single room or modest space.

Here's the honest comparison:

Feature Ashley AW40 Wood Burning Circulator Ashley AW3200E-P Large Pedestal Wood Stove Smaller Single-Room Wood Stove
Heating Coverage Up to 2,000 sq. ft. Up to 3,200 sq. ft. Typically under 1,000 sq. ft.

Why The Ashley AW3200E-P Is Worth The Investment

This isn't just a bigger wood stove, it's the largest-capacity option in the Ashley lineup, giving homeowners with big cabins or open floor plans genuine whole-home heat coverage that a smaller circulator like the AW40 isn't built to reach.

The AW3200E-P specifically addresses the needs of homeowners heating large cabins or homes up to 3,200 sq. ft. who need maximum BTU output alongside the elegance of a viewable flame through a large glass window.

Turns A Single Firebox Into Maximum-Coverage Heat. Two air inlets and three ignition tubes combine to create fire at both the top and bottom of the stove's interior, so wood burns from both sides, increasing burn efficiency and maximizing the 152,000 BTU output across the largest coverage area in the Ashley lineup.

Built For Powerful, Clean-Burning Heat

  • 152,000 BTUs heats up to 3,200 sq. ft., the largest coverage in the Ashley wood stove line
  • EPA "Step 2" 2020 Certified for clean burning without a catalyst
  • Heavy 3/16 in. reinforced plate steel with firebrick lining supports long life and combustion efficiency

Engineered For Everyday Convenience And Style

  • An adjustable high-speed 100 CFM blower distributes heat evenly across the space
  • A large ash drawer with a cast iron ash plug makes cleanup easy
  • A large arched ceramic glass window with a brushed nickel door handle lets the flames be enjoyed visually

Real Savings

  • Wood fuel can be less expensive than running gas or electric heating in areas with access to firewood
  • An included adjustable blower avoids the added cost of purchasing air circulation separately
  • Firebrick lining supports long-term durability, reducing the likelihood of costly early replacement
  • Free shipping and no sales tax through Summit Forge Supply keeps the total cost down compared to buying elsewhere and paying tax and freight separately

The Bottom Line Homeowners with large cabins or homes up to 3,200 sq. ft. who need maximum wood heat coverage can't get the same output from a smaller circulator like the AW40. The Ashley AW3200E-P is built with 152,000 BTUs, dual-direction combustion, and a 100 CFM blower, so it delivers the biggest heating capacity in the Ashley lineup with a viewable flame. For anyone heating the largest spaces with wood, this is the stove built to handle it.

Do you have videos on how to repair my Wood Stove?

Yes, please use this link to see our full list of videos Wood Stove Repair Videos

What size flue does the flue collar take?

The flue collar is designed to take 6” flue pipe.

Why is the advertised BTU different than the BTU output in the manual?

The Btu output listed in the owner’s manual is calculated under specific test conditions when undergoing EPA certification.  These parameters are not the same as normal usage of the stove.  The advertised Btu is based on the maximum Btu input that has been obtained in that particular stove.

Why can’t I get my wood to stay lit without leaving the door open?

A) Draft is the number one contributor to how well your stove is going to burn. Your chimney is what drives this draft.  If it is too short, or not made with the correct material or somehow not installed properly, it has a drastic impact on how well your stove performs. This can lead to the fire only staying lit if the feed door is open, smoking, blackened glass, and other issues if the chimney isn’t providing sufficient draft.  Newer EPA certified stoves require a substantial amount of draft than older non-regulated stoves.  You cannot compare how an old stove performed with how a new stove performs on the same installation.
B) The type of wood, quality of wood, and wood moisture are also integral in the performance of the stove. Wood should be seasoned properly with a moisture content between 15% and 20% (please note that surface moisture may be less than the internal moisture content so we recommend splitting the wood before checking the moisture content). Wood that has too high of a moisture content can lead to difficulty maintaining a fire, excessive smoking, and creosote production.

Where is this Product Made?

When it comes to product design, innovation, engineering, and testing, that all happens right here in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Due to the competitive marketplace in the heating industry and the price point we want to offer our customers; we manufacture this model in China under very strict oversight.

Can you convert the venting from top to back or vice versa?

No, none of our heaters allow for the change of the flue location.

Can a flue damper be added to the chimney pipe?

With an EPA certified stove, a manual solid flue damper cannot be used.  If you are wanting more control over the fire to allow for a slower burn, we instead recommend a Barometric Draft Regulator.

Do I need to install a fresh air kit?

If the stove is mobile home approved and is being installed in a mobile home, then a fresh air kit is required.  It is only optional otherwise, but may be necessary if you have a really air tight home or you are getting a negative pressure in the house.  The addition of a fresh air kit can help with the overall draft of the stove.

Can I use a grate in the firebox?

We do not recommend the usage of any grates in any of our wood stoves.

Can my wood stove be burned without a blower.

Yes.  These stoves are designed to be operated without the use of a blower.  Most of the time the blowers are optional accessories that can be purchased if wanted, but not required.

How do I know if a particular stove is mobile home approved or not.

The front cover of the owner’s manual should state if a stove is approved for mobile home usage or not.  If you need to find the owner’s manual, the latest addition should be on our website.
